Echo by Daryl Hine

The poem Echo by Daryl Hine is about a heartbroken girl, crying in a wood.  Specifically, Echo from the greek myth about Narcissus. This is one of my favorite greek myths and I noticed the symbolism and relation between the myth and the poem.  The poem also reminded me of a ballet I like, which relates to my life.  The meaning is about heartbreak and being alone.

I am going to show the meaning of the poem by speaking slowly and depressed.  The poem has a lot of sad feelings and I will convey that by not having a lot of energy or movements.  I will show the meaning very straightforward but not using many facial or hand gestures.
